HubSpot setup guide

Install and verify QuotePoint for HubSpot.

Use this guide for first-time installation, verification, reconnection, and clean removal of the QuotePoint integration.

Installation

From install link to working deal card.

1. Start the install

Open the QuotePoint install link. Sign in to an existing QuotePoint account or create a 14-day trial.

2. Resolve the workspace

Existing users continue with their current workspace. New users create an isolated QuotePoint workspace before authorization.

3. Authorize HubSpot

QuotePoint redirects to HubSpot OAuth. Review the requested scopes and approve the account you want connected.

4. Confirm the connection

After authorization, QuotePoint returns to Integrations and shows the connected HubSpot account ID and connection status.

5. Test the deal card

Open a HubSpot deal, find the QuotePoint card, and choose Configure in QuotePoint. The Quote Builder should open on app.quotepoint.net with the deal context loaded.

6. Prepare product sync

Load a real production catalog in QuotePoint. Sample/demo products are intentionally excluded from external CRM synchronization.

7. Sync the product library

From QuotePoint → Integrations, run the product-library sync. QuotePoint remains the source of truth; HubSpot receives a governed mirror.

Reconnect

If HubSpot asks for new permissions, reauthorize rather than creating a second workspace.

Open QuotePoint → Integrations and authorize the same HubSpot account again. QuotePoint updates the existing connection for that workspace/account pair.

Use the same QuotePoint workspace
Choose the intended HubSpot account during OAuth
Confirm the account ID after return
Run product sync again only after production catalog readiness is green

Disconnect / uninstall

Disconnect from QuotePoint when you no longer want the systems linked.

Workspace administrators can open QuotePoint → Integrations and choose Disconnect for the HubSpot account. QuotePoint disables the local connection and attempts to revoke its OAuth refresh token. You can also remove QuotePoint from HubSpot's connected-app settings.

What disconnecting does

QuotePoint stops future CRM reads/writes and product synchronization for that connection. Existing QuotePoint quotes and historical HubSpot properties are not silently deleted.

Troubleshooting

Most connection issues fall into three categories.

Authorization returns an error

Confirm the QuotePoint HubSpot app is deployed and the callback is https://app.quotepoint.net/functions/hubspotOAuthCallback.

Product sync is blocked

Confirm the workspace has production products. QuotePoint intentionally blocks sample/demo products from CRM synchronization.

Deal card does not launch

Confirm the latest HubSpot project build is deployed and the card is permitted to fetch https://app.quotepoint.net/functions/hubspotBridge.
